New Mexico food for Seattle

At Cocina Barelas we only use authentic New Mexico Red and Green chile mixed with locally sourced meats and produce to bring New Mexico food to Seattle.

Our green chile is shipped in from farms all over New Mexico, primarily Sichler Farms, Chimayo, and Hatch New Mexico.

Carne Adovada (warm and juicy slow cooked pork shoulder in smoky spicy NM red chile sauce)

Pollo Verde (shredded chicken thighs in NM green chile sauce with garlic and onions)

Green Chile Stew, Vegetarian Green Chile Chowder, Enchiladas, Burritos* also available.

* These are NOT Mission-Style burritos. These scale closer to "Amy's" brand burritos found in stores. 6-7 inches long, stuffed with either Carne Adovada or Pollo Verde, wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. All protein & no filler. No lettuce, cheese, etc. Just our warm juicy Carne Adovada or Pollo Verde. An absolute flavor bomb.
